American Apparel Unisex Flex Fleece Zip Hoody?

I bought this sweatshirt online and it came in the mail today… I ordered a small and it is HUGE on me.. The sleeves are so long, it looks absolutely ridiculous. It is made with 50% cotton and 50% polyester. Will this shrink significantly, or will I even be able to tell if it shrank?
I’m debating either washing and drying it or sending it back.

I really don’t want to send it back (I would have to pay for shipping) and the hoody is soooo soft and comfy. Wah.

I usually wear a small, but for unisex at American Apparel, I wear an XS. I have that same hoodie, in an XS and it fit quite snugly when I first bought it. After I had washed it a few times and dried it, the sleeves shrunk a little less then 3 centimeters. The most significant difference was the length of the hoodie, it used to sit just below my hips but is now just above them. I don’t dry it anymore though. I did when I first got it though, about 5 times-ish (just guessing). I guess it’d be your call on it. I would just send it back and exchange it for a different size, since you don’t know if it’ll fit the way you want it to once it shrinks, since their hoodies aren’t exactly cheap. But if you’d like to chance your luck, go ahead!
