What kind of work boots/shoes do you mechanics wear?

I want to get some new work boots but i want a good comfortable brand name thats waterproof and gonna hold up to the elements(water, dirt, mud, oil).Must be lightweight too.No steel toe.

What brand/style do you recommend?

I have warn Wolverine Dura-Shocks for the past 15 years and have no real complaints. I tried Red Wings and was not to impressed. I learned a long time ago that if there is one thing you do not cut corners on and that is your foot wear. Nothing makes you feel worse or makes the day seem longer than sore feet. I get all my boots from Academy sports store. They have a really good no questions asked return policy. I once returned a pair of boots after wearing them for 3 months.

I always get the steel toe boots with the lace up lower cut tops that come just over the ankle. The steel toe is a bit heavy but well worth the protection. The lower to provides great ankle support without to much lacing.
