Are Expensive Italian Designer Suits Worn by TV Preachers a fulfillment of Jesus’ Prophecies?
Jesus also said, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” (Matthew 7:15). By Sheep’s Clothing was he referencing wool, hence the $4000 Italian suits worn by the likes of Benny Hinn, Jim Baker, et al are a fulfillment of that prophecy??
Nothing upsets me more that watching those money grubbing jerks on tv. Ever watch the 700 club? They have supposedly true stories about how people that started giving them monthly donations suddenly had enormous increases in wealth and prosperity.
How anyone could believe that giving away money will help pay your bills, is beyond me, but i suppose some of these people are making decisions based on faith, not logic. I know an elderly woman who lives on a fixed income but gives $400 a month to tv preachers. As a result, she can barely afford her medication and groceries.
False prophets is about the nicest way to describe those crooks who prey upon the elderly, the poor, and the uneducated.
