What are the advantages of Titanium rings over Sterling Silver rings?

I am thinking about purchasing a ring and having a personal memento engraved on the interior of the band. The Titanium rings I’m looking at are a little more expensive (40-70 bucks) and the Sterling Silver are cheaper (20-50 bucks) but I am not sure about the features of each and I can’t find a good website that does. Any insight is appreciated!

If you’re run over, the titanium will not bend as easily as silver. It won’t stain or rust either. It’s not the loveliest metal, I bet they use an alloy to spice it up.
