Suit Tux
Where is a good place to rent a suit or tux in Seattle?
I’m getting married in July and I need to rent suits or tuxes for myself and my groomsmen. I’m leaning toward black suits but a suit-like tux might work too. I am just not really interested in a traditional tuxedo look. Thanks for your help!
Don’t try to mix suits and tuxedos. Bastardizing formalwear is a sure road to failure. Besides, don’t kid yourself that you’re a pioneer in rejecting the old school of tuxedos–the only daring people today are those who actually know the rules of black tie.
Case in point: tuxedos are inappropriate for day weddings, being as they are evening-wear. Black suits are also not traditionally worn during the day, as they don’t play well with sunlight. Consider charcoal suits instead.
