How do you turn jeans into straight-leg?

Is there an easy way to turn flared jeans into straight leg?

This is easy. Get out the sewing machine. Turn the jeans inside out. Jeans will have one seam that is double, the other is just a single seam. Stay away from the double seam side–way too much work. Sew a straight line from the knee to the hem of the jeans. Try them on to make sure you haven’t made the ankle too tight.
If it is fine, turn the jeans inside out again, and cut off the excess fabric (don’t get too close to your new seam–leave about a half an inch). Finish the raw edge with either a serger or a tight zigzag stitch.
Been doing this for years–it will take you about a half an hour (max) per pair of jeans.
