Can I bleach Sperry Top-Sider shoe laces?

I got silver Sperry laces with navy blue shoes and I don’t like it AT ALL. I want to have white laces and I was wondering if I would be able to bleach them or would that damage the laces to much because they are leather, suede or deerskin. I really don’t remember…

You won’t be able to bleach the silver laces white. They will always be silver.

However, you can buy plain white shoe laces at any shoe store. Usually you can also buy them at Walmart and Dollar General. Make sure you measure the silver laces, so you know the length you need to buy.
