Yes they are! Pink is now quite acceptable for men to wear, and a polo shirt is a great piece for men to wear in pink. Why? Because the polo is a manly, masculine, sporty garment so ideally for the guy who is nervous about adding pink to their wardrobe.
Many ladies like they boyfriend or husband to wear pink. It shows they are secure and unafraid to make a statement. It is also nice to see men in a different colour than the usual dark hues such as black and blue. Its a nice change from the norm.
The single guy can use pink polo shirts to stand out from the crowd and be noticed by the ladies. If you act in a confident manner, wearing pink shows you are ready to be noticed and be different, and you will be seen as interesting.
What to wear with pink polo shirts
Do wear pink polos with a neutral colour that grounds and doesn’t compete with it. For example: cream, white, khaki, chocolate, and denim. Also:
Do wear middle of the range pinks with white.
Do mix cream or khaki with soft blush pinks.
Do be braver with great combinations like steamy pink and grass green for original freshness.
Don’t put together cold pastels such as pink and baby blue. This ain’t gonna work.
Don’t wear blatant pink with black: it looks passe, to say the least. Use near-white or khaki as a fresher contrast to the pink.

Why the bias against men wearing pink polos?
Many men will refuse to wear pink clothing such as a pink polo shirt because the colour is associated with femininity. To put it more bluntly, straight men think wearing pink will make them look gay. They could be embarrassed to wear pink when their mates are around or out in public.
Perhaps one factor in determining that pink isn’t for boys is the way we dress babies and young children – blue for the boys and pink for the girls. A definite rule etched into society. And I imagine very few parents, in-fact hardly any, would break and dress their boy in pink.
Amazingly it hasn’t always been this way. Just as many centuries ago men commonly wore skirts – for practical reasons, boys would wear pink, as it was a derivative of red and showed masculinity. In Christianity blue represents virginity and was therefore more acceptable for girls… now isn’t that bizarre, when compared to today’s norms!
In conclusion I would say that pink polo shirts are a great addition to any mans collection and ideally for all occasions from lazy Sunday afternoons to a hectic session in the gym. Pink is the new black!
