What should i wear with a short black pleated skirt?

I bought a black pleated skirt (above knee-length) and i haven’t a clue what kind of top to wear with it. Any suggestions?

Since black is a neautral, you can wear almost anything with that. Try a fun, graphic printed tee for a more casual look (and tuck it into the skirt, especially if it is a high waisted skirt!). Otherwise, try a funky top or a button down shirt to make it dressier. Since I don’t know the exact length, you may or may not be able to wear it in a professional situation, but if it is right above the knee, you can pair it with a black blazer and a flowy top for work or an interview.
