Are my Oakley sunglasses supposed to squeak?

I just bought some Oakley Fuel Cell Ducati sunglasses today and when I open them up the squeak like crazy. Should I return them and get another pair?

Yes. Some pairs, will squeak. That’s just the o-matter of the arm, rubbing on the o-matter in the frame. It will wear down a bit the more you wear them and the squeak will go away.

I had a pair of gascans, oil rigs, and eye patch sunglasses that all squeaked when I first got them.
