JCPenney staff didnt allow me to try Mens Dress shirt . Is this Normal or Should I have complained to store ma?

The staff said I am not allowed to try dress shirt. My question is how will I know the fit unless I try it on. Is this common in all JCPenney or should I have taken this matter to the attention of the store manager?

I’ve never heard of that happening and I’ve worked at JCP for quite awhile.

Chances are the employees were just being asses and didn’t want to have to re-fold and re-pin it to make it look like it did before you tore into it. That’s always a big frustration at my store, but we would never and have never told someone they couldn’t try it on.

And to the first poster: No retail employee actually cares when a distressed customer threatens to go to another store. Quite honestly, we’d rather have them not shop at our store, either.
