Do you prefer a more famous brand that is made in China or low profile brand that is made in Italy?

When it comes to apparel items like clothes, wallets, shoes and handbags, do you prefer a big brand (American brand or European brand) that is made in China or a less famous brand (American brand or European brand) that is made in Italy?

Let’s say they are both American brand or European brand and about the same price range.
Italy seems to be famous for good craftsmanship.

i prefer made in italy. reasons:
- in italy the quality is controlled not only by the company, but also by the country(through police, healthy department, costums, or others)periodically to keep the quality and the guarante still not top.
how about in china.i dunno exactly, but they could do conspiration,inmy opinion?
- how many workers lost in italy that lost the jobs?for me the meaning isnt only to finish their job, but also to kill their talent!
- i prefer mede in china only if they have good quality with chinese price,not european price.
- how many famous brand that made from cina and create trouble? milk(more,the snack such m&m’s,mars,etc), fisher price’s toy(i forgot the more specific toys).
