is there 100% UV and blue ray protection from the Oakley Men’s Half Jacket Iridium Sunglasses?

All those websites- sell fakes. Don’t visit them.

Oakley lenses offer 100% UVA, UVB, and UVC protection. Those cheap fakes those websites that the other posters put up? They only block out UVA, and B and that’s only b/e that is an inherent proprety of Poly Carbonate. Furthermore, those fakes are so full of distortion, you’ll get headaches wearing them.

But, back to your question, yes, Oakley offers this protection. “Blue ray” protection or are you referring to “blue light rays”. Blue ray is a type of disc player. UV rays and blue lightwaves are often used interchangeably. Oakley does block these rays. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t have been rated the best glasses you can buy, time and time again by both independent and government labs. The US military wouldn’t allow them to be worn in combat, as well.

If you want something that “looks” like the “blue blocker” glasses, go with a Bronze based lens, something like Gold Iridium will work best. Gold iridium USED to be my lens of choice. I have heard folks who put them on say they feel like “my eyes took a vacation”.
