Grateful Dead
Grateful Dead

You love listening to AC/DC, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Rush and even Dream Theatre and you dress accordingly. You like wearing ripped jeans, t-shirts with motifs and you only recently got rid of your ponytail.
You’ve been invited to one of your best friend’s weddings but the only problem is the dress code is formal and you are pretty sure that you won’t be able to wear your jeans even if they are black. Don’t worry, there are plenty of ways that you can still be a rocker and dress formerly.
You may not have worn a suit for years, so get the one you have hidden away in your closet and try it on. Don’t wear this suit if it is too short in the leg or the arm. Get it dry cleaned if it still fits you. If you don’t feel comfortable in it buy a new one that fits you properly! Remember that fit makes all the differences so don’t compromise. Buying a new suit is a good investment providing you stick to a traditional conservative style and spruce it up with a snazzy necktie and cufflinks. If you cant afford a new suit go and get your self fitted to know your size and have a scout around the second hand stores and online auction sites. You can get them adjusted afterwards.
When you are choosing your shirt think about whether you might like to wear some cufflinks. There are all sorts of cufflinks, there are even rock cufflinks! Wear these with pride so that people know your love of rock music. If you play a musical instrument even better! Why not wear an electric bass guitar or even a fender Stratocaster on your sleeve then you can be a real guitar hero.
If you like AC/DC they even have cufflinks you can wear. There are drum kit cufflinks, simple musical note cufflinks. There are even some great engraved cufflinks that carry phrases such as, “Rock on”. With all of these great cufflinks designs you certainly will be able to do that! If you like to wear a lot of rock jewelry its best to leave this to one side for the day, your cufflinks are all you need. If you really are a rock die hard fan then you could try and get away with a cufflink and tie combo.
There are AC/DC, Guns and Roses, Rolling Stones big tongue, the Grateful dead as well as Pink Floyd ties. If you play and instrument or like other kinds of music as well you can get musical note ties, jazz ties, saxophone ties as well as classical music ties. There really is a whole lot that you can choose from.
Don’t miss out on a formal event because you don’t know what to wear, get a smart suit and accessorize it with a snazzy rock tie and cufflinks and you will certainly look the part, you don’t have to dress grunge to show that you are a rock and roll fan. You don’t need to wear your torn jeans and dark t-shirt all the time. There are plenty of ties and cufflinks that are for lifetime rockers like you.
John Lavoie invites you to check out the latest cufflinks offered at Cuff-Daddy.com. Specialists in cufflink boxes, mens neckties and cufflinks, you’re sure to find something to your liking.
what do you think this grateful dead quote means?
“A box of rain will ease the pain, and love will see you through.” – grateful dead.
Well, if you think of rain as a cleansing and cooling thing, then maybe it means that the rain will cleanse and help to wash away the pain and love will help you get through it all?

Festival Express $12.60 The vintage concert footage alone makes Festival Express a memorable and worthwhile endeavor, offering scintillating performances by Janis Joplin, the Band (their rollicking version of “Slippin’ and Slidin’” is particularly mind-blowing), the Grateful Dead, Buddy Guy, and others (remember Mashmakhan?). In 1970, during the heyday of the rock festival, promoter Ken Walker decided to organize a trave… |
