Golf shirts are an important part of every golfer’s wardrobe, and buying the right golf shirt can impact both your comfort and game while on the course. In this brief article, I’m going to cover 3 important tips to follow when shopping for a new golf shirt. Hopefully by the time you’re done reading this article, you’ll be armed and dangerous when it comes to golf shirt shopping know-how.

The first thing that you need to take into consideration as you’re shopping for the best golf shirt is comfort. Sure, it’s cool to look trendy in super fashionable golf attire — but if it’s not comfortable, you’re wasting your cash. Buy for comfort first, style second.

The second thing that you should look at when buying golf shirts is the material. What type of weather do you normally play in? If it’s typically hot and sunny, be sure to choose a lightweight fabric that is breathable and will keep you cool. If you are going to be golfing in cooler temperatures, choose a shirt that is a little heavier and will keep you comfortable in cooler weather.

Last but not least, color is a consideration that you shouldn’t overlook. Dark shirts can be extremely hot to wear on warm days, so if you plan on being out in warm, sunny conditions, choose lighter shirts.

Hopefully this short article has given you some ideas on what to look for the next time you’re out buying a new golf shirt. Remember, don’t be afraid to be picky. After all, it is possible to be comfortable and stylish at the same time.
