Oakley Minute 2.0 or Flak Jacket?
I can’t decide. Minute 2.0 or Flak Jacket?
Depends on the size and shape of your face.
I’d personally tend to take the Straight Jackets over the Minute 2.0, and also prefer the XLJ Flak Jackets over the regular, but that’s me.
Each you’re considering has hydrophobic lenses, which is a big thing I’d look for with Oakley lenses these days. Beyond that I’d next worry about tint and polarization options.
If you’d have a lot of athletic uses, the Flak Jackets are a good choice, but if you’re going more for casual use, they might not be. The regular Flak Jackets also have a sort of roundish shape that may or may not suit your face. They’re also a pretty big seller in those athletic circles so if you want something more stylish and unique you might even want to avoid them. Of course they have the exchangeable lenses, too, if that matters.
Anyway, I’m a huge fan of the Flak Jacket (XLJ) myself, but use them 90% of the time in athletic settings.
