What’s the DIFFERENCE between “business casual” and “dress casual”?

I started a new job, and they said the attire is business casual, but from what i saw, it looked more dress casual to me….

Dress casual is a little more party-like. Business casual means suits are not needed but you definitely need to dress in a professional manner. That means no cleavage, no jeans, no look-at-me! clothes. It should also mean no armpits.

Pick clothes that say “I mean business and you can count on me” not “I’m meeting friends for a party as soon as I get out of here”.

Pay attention to how the folks at the top of the food chain dress. How you dress will absolutely influence how people see you as a professional.

Good luck at your new job!
