MacLaren techno xt stroller?
i was considering purchasing this stroller for my 4 month old, is it worth the $279?

Yes, I have the new maclaren Xt, in Black 2009 model. I have a Bugaboo Cameleon, as well, but this has proved to be a bit of a turkey. I loved the look of it, but it is totally impractical. I have a big car, but still get annoyed, especially when the weather is bad. The Xt has, so far, been brilliant. Ok the shopping basket isn,t massive, but so what. The buggy is easy peasy, and the raincover is easy peasy, thank God ( you try the bloody Bugaboo Raincover!!) The black option looks much better than the traditional grey. My daughter seems perfectly happy, facing forward, I think she gets a bit bored just looking at me! I talk to my daughter, alot, anyway so she has a bit of a break. Go for it, I am always suspicious of cheaper versions, this is the original buggy, so if you can afford it I would say that it makes sense. I pain £195.00 for my buggy.
