Why are men wearing bracelets these days; what do you think about grown men wearing bracelets?

Every once in a while I see a grown man wearing a bracelet, never the same kind, and I always wonder what the story is, and I really don’t want to ask because maybe it’s some kind of homosexual identity prompt or prop.

I’ve heard lately that gay and swinging men are wearing colored bracelets–anyone know anything?

When you think about it, bracelets in general are pretty silly/pointless. I wouldn’t be bothered by a guy wearing one, though.
