When changing a 305 Chevy pick up engine with a carburetor to a 350 Chevy block that had electronic ignition?

1986 Chevy PU with 305 carburetor
1990 Crate 350 with 70,000 miles in excellent condition but electronic ignition.(do not want to change to electronic on 86 truck)
What mods need to be made to the intale manifold, fule pump, distributor, exhaust sustem. It does have a removable plate where the mechanical fuel pump bolts on, will I need to change the 86 pump to a carburated 350 fuel pump.
Can I change the powersteering and a/c and all the belt driven accesories to the serpentine belt system? Lets start from here! Thanks

Both engines should have electronic ignition.. In fact last non elec ign was in 1973.

Then the 1st computer controlled elec ign was 79

Your 1990 engine may not have a fuel pump lobe on the camshaft to work the pump rod

Just swap out the intake, carb, dizzy from your 305 over to the 350

Same with belt system, pulley, etc

You may have to get a cheap in line $35 uni fit elec fuel pump from the parts store if the 90 don’t have the pump lobe on cam
